2015 Raytheon MATHCOUNTS National Championship

MathCounts (National) from 2014-2015

About MathCounts (National) The MathCounts Competition is a national middle school coaching and competitive mathematics program that promotes mathematics achievement. Outstanding students will advance to the next stage. Each and every round of MathCounts is always exciting and fun. The best contestants will be recognized. The National Competition is similar in format to the State competition but has an expanded Countdown Round as well as the Masters Round, which is not used in Washington. Students will spend Thursday getting to know the other teams and settling down in their hotel; on Friday morning students will complete the Individual and Team Rounds; and later that night the Countdown Round will take place. Saturday is reserved for the Masters Round, visiting local attractions, and the banquet. The top four competitors at the MATHCOUNTS State Competition, as decided by the Individual and Countdown Rounds, qualify for the national competition. The student in fifth place would be the team's alternate should a conflict arise.
